Baa Bahoo Aur Baby (colloquially known every bit BBB or B3 ) (transl. Overview [edit]

An sometime woman named Godavari Thakkar lives with her husband, her eight children, their spouses and her grandchildren. Godavari is the dame of the family. The family faces many problems. All of them overcome their daily problems together while living happily every bit a joint family.

Godavari Thakkar a.m.a. Baa is the dame of the Thakkar family. Her hubby, Labhshankar Thakkar, is an alcoholic and theatre actor, but a loving hubby and father. Although he drinks alcohol, Godavari believes that one day he volition change himself. She has raised six sons and two daughters on her own, through tiffin service. The family lives in Krishna villa.

Godavari has 6 sons: Arvind, a strict and old fashioned insurance agent; Praveen, a mischievous and stingy saree businessman; Subodh, a playful theater actor; Harshad, a successful doctor; Gopal a.k.a. Gattu, an intellectually disabled child; and Hemal, the adopted son who works at a bank.

Godavari has two daughters: Charubala and Radhika a.k.a. Baby. Charubala is a sophisticated adult female who e'er shows off. She is married to Tushar and lives in S Mumbai. Radhika is handicapped (afflicted with polio) and a very stubborn daughter who is often seen talking rudely, but loves her family and understands life.

The family unit also includes her daughter-in-laws, Leela, Arvind's playful wife; Praveena, Praveen's wife who is naughty, able-bodied and a saree businesswoman (who is dead); Shilpa, Harshad'south wife and a doc; Meenakshi, the shy wife of Subodh and; Gurinder a.one thousand.a. Gudiya, the Punjabi wife of Hemal.

Among the children are Dimple and Jigar, grown upward children of Arvind and Leela; Mehul, Mitali and Chaitali, children of Praveen and Praveena; Simran and Khushi, daughters of Charubala and Tushar; Saloni and Saumil, children of Harshad and Shilpa; Manav and Disha, children of Subodh and Meenakshi, and Lucky, the adopted daughter of Hemal and Gurinder.

The business firm has a cook Rajjaa and a worker, Narsi Kaka.

Plot [edit]

Season 1 [edit]

The season begins with a detailed introduction of all the members of the household and how they bargain with all the bug impacting a joint family construction. They face different issues and misunderstandings. Notable episodic stories of this flavour are: Radhika'due south unrequited love for Anish; an NRI; Anish and Dimple'due south love story; Arvind non talking to his father, Labhshankar due to his drinking habit that has caused astringent problems to the family from childhood to till date; Harshad being turned out of the business firm by Godavari and his return after 5 years; Praveena'southward tragic demise; Radhika and Birju'due south love story; the calamity of Praveen selling the house without everyone's consent to save Hemal's life past helping him to return the coin taken as loan; Hemal and Gurinder's wedding; and Jigar's coming of age. The sons get Krishna villa renovated. The season focuses on the human relationship of Radhika - Birju, and Jigar - Rimjhim. Reluctance from the family unit of Birju to accept Radhika as their daughter-in-law creates initial hiccups, only they get married eventually. Rimjhim is the daughter of a wealthy businessman and the Thakkar family helps her to elope from a forced arranged matrimony as she and Jigar honey each other. While Rimjhim and Jigar try to prove themselves worthy, Rekha enters the household as the unwed mother of a newborn whom she hands over to Gattu for care-giving. Gopal grows attached to the newborn girl.

In the last episode of the season; Godavari's biography, Sanyukt Parivaar Ki Safal Yatra: Baa, Bahoo Aur Infant, gets officially published.

Three Years Later [edit]

Leela and Arvind are about to go to The states as Dimple is significant. Praveen's children are all grown up and pursuing their careers. Harshad and Shilpa open up a maternity home in Godavari's name. Meenakshi is expecting her tertiary kid. Gudiya has had twin daughters. A breakthrough in polio treatment has helped Baby to recover from her polio. Birju and Radhika take a son named Aahan. Rimjhim has started a family catering business known as 'Thakkar Caterers'. Labhshankar has finally stopped drinking and is helping Rimjhim in business partnership past handling the accounts and deliveries of the catering service. And Gattu is taking care of babies in his playhouse which is congenital on the name of his foster daughter- 'Gatuki Palna Ghar' as he all the same misses Rekha and Gatuki. The season ends with the Thakkar family winning the 'Family of the Decade' award and all the family members are taking a family picture together.

The third season is yet to exist released.....

Sarita Joshi as Godavari "Baa" Thakkar. She is the matriarch of the Thakkar family. She is a strict, stubborn, loving and caring woman. She has 6 sons and ii daughters. If someone disobeys her, or interruptes in her conversation, she says- 'Koi behes nahi karega, jo behes karega vo sidha ghar se bahar jayega.' To that, her son Gopal ever replies 'Aise..aise karke....' (while showing deportment through his hand). She also has a catchphrase- "Kuch nahi sikhaya maa-baap ne, bas bhej diya!" She is secretly called Mogambaa, Jog Maya etc. by a few members of the family unit due to their frustration on her.
Arvind Vaidya equally Labhshankar "Bapuji" Thakkar. He is Godavari'due south hubby, a jolly and fun loving human who loves his family, a theatre actor and the patriarch of the family, only for proverb as he was an alcoholic homo. He frequently sings the famous vocal of the film Mughal-e-Azam 'More panghat pe....Nandlaal chedh gayo re....' He always teases Arvind to try and make Arvind talk to him, as Arvind never talks to him directly due to his habit of drinking. Gopal always calls his liquor 'Kaala khatta' equally information technology smells very bad.
Benaf Dadachandji as Radhika "Baby" Mehta. (née Thakkar). Radhika is Godavari and Labhshankar'southward youngest kid and younger daughter. She is handicapped (afflicted with polio). Deven Bhojani as Gopal "Gattu" Thakkar. He is Godavari and Labhshankar'due south youngest (own) son. He is a foodie and an intellectually disabled child.
